Day 2: Pooley Bridge to Patterdale. 11 miles (17.5km).

Day 3: Patterdale to Bampton. 13 miles (21km).

Day 4: Bampton to Pooley Bridge. 8 miles (13km) .

Day 5: Depart from Pooley Bridge after breakfast.

Extra nights/rest days

Patterdale is a excellent base for an extra night, from this lively little village there are many wonderful day walks, with access onto the Helvellyn range of fells.
