
The North Norfolk Heritage
Coastline goes through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This 46-mile
trail offers four days peaceful walking along sandy beaches and beside saltmarsh,
saltings, creeks and dunes. The North Norfolk Coast is famous for its flora
and birdlife and the trail passes through several internationally recognised
nature reserves. Besides several attractive villages the path also passes
several of the windmills that Norfolk is famous for, three stately homes,
the ruin of a Carmelite Friary and a Roman Camp.

Most convenient major city and International airport: London
Outward journey from London to Hunstanton: There is a fast
and frequent rail service between London Kings Cross and Kings Lynn (2 hours
15 minutes), then bus or taxi from Kings Lynn railway station to Hunstanton.
Return journey to London at the end of the holiday: There is
a frequent train service from Cromer to London Liverpool Street. The journey
takes about 2 ½ hours.
