Extra nights/Rest days

Widecombe-in-the-Moor is a lovely village with a superb church dating from the 14th century. Don't miss the beautiful painted roodscreen and carved one-eared rabbits above the communion rail. Chagford is a pleasing village with a few shops, a good pub, fine church and an interesting little museum in the general store. Simonsbath in the heart of Exmoor is another pleasant village. The pretty village of Lynmouth at the junction and estuary of the East and West Lyn rivers is a delightful place to linger.
