About the trail

The Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path National Trail combines two contrasting paths. The Peddars Way follows the line of a Roman road through pleasant countryside. It enjoys a mix of country lanes, footpaths and tracks through a varied landscape of open heath, woodland, rich farmland and pretty villages.

As the trail reaches the coast, the Norfolk Coast Path takes over, leading the way along a shoreline famed for its remoteness and wild beauty. Part of the England Coast Path, the walk passes through a diverse landscape of sandy beaches, reed beds, tidal inlets and unspoilt villages. Magnificent stately homes, medieval castles and the seal colonies at Blakeney Point all add to the charm of this scenic trail.

We offer multiple holiday options along this trail. If you wish to experience the entire trail, simply select the first option from the list below.

Norfolk Coast Path Short Break - North Section

This short break along the Norfolk Coast Path is a single-centre holiday taking in some of the most unspoilt coastline in England. Beginning in the Victorian seaside resort of Brancaster, the trail encounters marshland, tidal creeks, sandy beaches and pine forests on its way to Wells-Next-The-Sea, a beautiful seaside resort.

The walk then continues along the coastline and through saltmarshes frequented by redshank, shelduck and brent geese. It then arrives at the holiday’s end in the village of Blakeney, offering the perfect chance to spot grey seals from Blakeney Point.

Further transfers may also be required due to some accommodations having a two-night minimum booking policy, especially at weekends.

Below are the additional costs that may apply depending on your requirements. Dog-friendly tours are subject to a Daily Dog Charge, which will be listed below if applicable.
