This short break commences from the village of Ravenglass by the Irish Sea and explores pleasant coastline, quiet forests, thriving farmland, expansive moors, tranquil lakes and impressive waterfalls.

Along the way the walk encounters charming little hamlets and villages, each steeped in their own fascinating history. Other historic sites of interest include the ruin of a Roman bathhouse, a splendid 13th century castle and the iconic La’al Ratty railway.
