The Best of Hadrian’s Wall Path walk visits several of the largest Roman forts found along the Wall, as well as Thirlwall Castle and Lanercost Priory, built with stone plundered from the wall itself. Mrs Jury, UK
“We had a great time and absolutely loved the walk. Thank you so much for organising our holiday for us. Many thanks for all your assistance, and I will certainly be recommending you to any friends that want to follow our footsteps.”
Mrs Horwood, UK
“The weather was not predicted to be great but we were lucky to only have a few heavy showers. The 25mph headwind, however, was brutal! The Pubs and B&Bs were all good and welcoming. We greatly appreciate the accommodations that accepted dogs, it would be a waste of a walk otherwise! Having experienced our first organised walking holiday, we usually always book our own, this was a different perspective.”
Mr Fuller, UK
“This is the third time we have booked a trip with Contours. Previously we have done two trails in Scotland and a trip in Wales. Contours is thorough and professional.”
Dr Rudolph, USA
“I just wanted to say thank you to Contours for putting together another wonderful trip. I am happy I saved the information from my first time walking the wall back in 2015. Thanks again for another great walking holiday.”
Mr Sponzilli, USA
“Great B&B's. Excellent food. Extremely helpful/friendly hosts.”
