A magnificent trail showcasing the world-famous Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
From £525 per person
The Cotswold Way covers 102 miles along the western edge of the Cotswold Hills, from the old wool town of Chipping Campden to the historic city of Bath. Unlike our Circular Walks in the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Way cuts south along the Cotswold escarpment, showcasing varied terrain and unforgettable views from atop its heights.
Along its length, this walking holiday encounters tranquil woodlands and sheltered valleys dotted with welcoming towns, villages and hamlets. Each settlement boasts insights into the region’s fascinating past, while the surrounding landscapes also feature a wealth of historical landmarks such as hill forts, castles and ancient battle sites.
We offer multiple holiday options along this trail. If you wish to experience the entire trail, simply select the first option from the list below.
Dogs are welcome on select routes along this trail. Look for the pawprint icon when choosing your holiday.

“We were very grateful that you agreed to arrange a bespoke holiday for us. We do have experience of other walking holiday companies and had no issues of real concern arise during our holiday.”Ms Craig, UK
“Pretty much perfect. For those that love walking it would be silly not to walk the Cotswold Way.”Mr Tupper, UK
“We were slightly nervous about doing the Cotswold Way in November but with a little luck from the weather it turned out to be amazing. With autumn colours enhancing the views and carpets of yellow leaves in the forests the scenery was stunning. The many pubs had roaring fires and pretty Cotswold villages were putting up Christmas lights and decorations. The only hazard was the mud! Fun at times but definitely slowed us down.”Mrs. Brain, UK
“After three days I forgot what day it was. Totally relaxed.”Mr Shalay, Canada
“Thank you for making all the arrangements for my recent walk along the Cotswold way. It was so helpful having all the accommodation booked and baggage transfers, with taxi booked when necessary. All I had to do was WALK! The weather was kind and I really enjoyed the challenge. I am looking forward to another walk- Just need to decide when and where.”Mrs Gambier, UK
“The arrangements by Contours were very good. Walking in the wettest March for 40-50 years though was hard as the tracks are extremely muddy in parts!”Dr Smith, UK
“Wonderful quirky towns, inns and people. Expansive views.”Mrs Jeffery, Australia
“Another enjoyable holiday which I extended by staying two nights at Strafford upon Avon and walking two sections of the Heart of England Way - Henley in Arden to Chipping Campden. Another enjoyable trip. I often do recommend Contours to the people I meet on the walk. Looking at maybe booking the Isle of Wight coast and Fife coast for next year.”Mr Duthoit, UK
“Everything your Company did equalled or exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend Contours to any of my friends. Good on you people.”Mr Hitchman, Canada
