“Totally exhilarating and fulfilling walk through some stunning countryside. All pre travel information was detailed as was the guidebook and the accommodation details which assisted with daily planning. Baggage and taxi transfers all went smoothly and without any issues. We have used Contours on previous occasions and have no hesitation on using or recommending Contours.”Mrs Davies, UK
“The Pennine Way was fabulous and highly recommend it to anyone as long as they have a degree of fitness.”Mr Roome, UK
“Great time, loved it all. We would have turned back and walked back to the start if we had the time and money to do so, we enjoyed it that much!”Mr Kirkup, UK
“I’m happy to be home but what an amazing Pennine Way adventure I have had. It’s hard to express in words just how magical this trip was. For me the Pennine Way is easily the best long-distance path in the UK. But it’s not a walk for the faint hearted and it is by no means a stroll in the park. Dealing with the tough terrain (loads of bugs), the remoteness and the solitude was just the emotional and physical challenge that I needed. I guess I was lucky to only have four days when I walked in the rain. And if anything my injury (I broke my wrist on day 12) made the holiday even more satisfying. I will carry the memories of this holiday for a long, long time. A well-planned holiday with comprehensive itinerary supplied. I can’t think of a better way to spend three weeks. I loved the challenge and the rewards are enormous. The satisfaction I felt when completing and achieving the walk was amazing.”Mr Duthoit, UK
“Everything went very smoothly, all in line with itinerary details.”Mr Matthews, UK
“One word”Mr Claeys, Belgium
“Planning and details excellent. The walk fantastic. The hostels, hotels and B&BS all of a very high standard. Thoroughly enjoyable!”Mr Parr, Denmark
“The weather could have been better but it probably added to the sense of achievement. Great walk with excellent accommodation.”Dr Hicks, UK
“Thank you for the arrangements you made for our recent Pennine Way Walk. They all worked without any problems or difficulties and certainly added to the enjoyment of the walk. Our bags were at our next stop when we arrived, without exception we were greeted there with warmth and kindness and taxi drivers were expecting our calls when we made contact with them. Everywhere we stayed was comfortable, help was always available and generally our desire to make an early start was understood and accommodated by both the B&B/Hotel and the taxi service. All along our route we met friendly, kind and helpful people who added further enjoyment to our walk. We have been booking holidays with CWH for the last seven years and your arrangements have always worked well.”Mr Duerden, UK
