After spending the first night of your holiday in Castleton, nestled in the shadow of the awesome Peveril Castle, a taxi will collect you from your accommodation in the morning and drop you off at Miller’s Dale. The route back to Castleton is a walk of real diversity, including woodland trails, riverside paths, sweeping dales and hilly climbs, with scenery to appease every taste.
Your second walking day will then begin from your accommodation’s doorstep and sets out for the hills, encountering the iconic Great Ridge from Mam Tor to Lose Hill and Win Hill on your way to Bamford, each offering far-reaching views. A taxi transfer will then take you back to Castleton to collect your luggage, signalling the completion of this two-day getaway.
