This is a single-centre tour — where you return to the same accommodation both nights — with three mileage options to choose from. Whether you opt for the longest route from Wyedale to Hathersage, the mid-length route from Millers Dale to Bamford, or the shortest route from Tideswell to Hope, you will certainly find this little piece of the Peaks very fulfilling to explore.
This two-night break was designed as a compact way to sample an area, ideal for a long weekend — and as a gift for an outdoorsy loved one. Stay in one accommodation for the duration, with a lift to the trail on the first morning and back to your accommodation after the final day's hike. Choose from three mileage options and explore at your own pace.

This is our shortest two-day walking tour in the Peak District National Park at just 15 miles in length, but those miles are nevertheless packed with memorable sights to discover!
After spending the first night of your holiday in the picturesque village of Castleton, a taxi will collect you from your accommodation in the morning and drop you off at Tideswell, a well-connected village with plenty to see and do. Your walk sets off from here into rolling pasturelands before delving into the atmospheric Cave Dale on the approach back to Castleton, overlooked by Peveril Castle high above you.
Your second walking day will then begin from your accommodation’s doorstep, where you can explore awesome cave networks before bounding across the Great Ridge towards your end point in Hope. A taxi transfer will then take you back to Castleton to collect your luggage, signalling the completion of this perfectly proportioned hike.
