The Cotswold Way covers 102 miles along the western edge of the Cotswold Hills, from the old wool town of Chipping Campden to the historic city of Bath. Along its length, this walking holiday encounters tranquil woodlands and sheltered valleys dotted with welcoming towns, villages and hamlets. Each settlement boasts insights into the region’s fascinating past, while the surrounding landscapes also feature a wealth of historical landmarks such as hill forts, castles and ancient battle sites.

“Information pack was very detailed and Cotswolds Way was well marked so easy to follow. Luggage transfers were all smooth.”Mr Hirst, UK
“Another enjoyable holiday which I extended by staying two nights at Strafford upon Avon and walking two sections of the Heart of England Way - Henley in Arden to Chipping Campden. Another enjoyable trip. I often do recommend Contours to the people I meet on the walk. Looking at maybe booking the Isle of Wight coast and Fife coast for next year.”Mr Duthoit, UK
“We have just completed our 9th walking holiday with Contours - Cotswold Way, Sept 2021. Again another good itinerary with pleasant accommodation and reliable baggage transfers. We had 11 days of glorious sunshine which added to yet another memorable holiday. Thank you Contours. We are already looking forward to taking on the East Highland Way & Speyside Way in May 2022.”Mr Evans, UK
“Everything was very well organized. All we had to do was enjoy our walk! We certainly will book another holiday with Contour Walking Holidays!”Mrs Wiesemann-Visser, Netherlands
“We were slightly nervous about doing the Cotswold Way in November but with a little luck from the weather it turned out to be amazing. With autumn colours enhancing the views and carpets of yellow leaves in the forests the scenery was stunning. The many pubs had roaring fires and pretty Cotswold villages were putting up Christmas lights and decorations. The only hazard was the mud! Fun at times but definitely slowed us down.”Mrs. Brain, UK
“An excellent holiday. The admin and organisation were superb. I have no hesitation in booking another… As far as I'm concerned there's nothing you can improve on. Most certainly have recommended to people I met along the route. Meeting, walking and chatting with some many different people along the Way. The stunning countryside, the views, smell of bluebells and wild garlic. Taking my boots off at the end of the day.”Mrs Pearce-Urwin, UK
“This was a wonderful walk enjoyed by all in our party. We were lucky with the weather with just a couple of showers on the first two days and then dry weather but not too hot (unlike this week!). There are some very steep climbs and a couple of long days but manageable. The arrangements for transfers worked well and directions to accommodations straightforward. Good and varied accommodation, great views, lovely area.”Mr Mowforth, UK
“A great trip, and everything worked as planned.”Mr Pedersen, Norway
“Well organised, generally accommodation was very good, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming.”Mrs McGoldrick, UK
