A magnificent trail showcasing the world-famous Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
From £538 per person
The Cotswold Way covers 102 miles along the western edge of the Cotswold Hills, from the old wool town of Chipping Campden to the historic city of Bath. Unlike our Circular Walks in the Cotswolds, the Cotswold Way cuts south along the Cotswold escarpment, showcasing varied terrain and unforgettable views from atop its heights.
Along its length, this walking holiday encounters tranquil woodlands and sheltered valleys dotted with welcoming towns, villages and hamlets. Each settlement boasts insights into the region’s fascinating past, while the surrounding landscapes also feature a wealth of historical landmarks such as hill forts, castles and ancient battle sites.
We offer multiple holiday options along this trail. If you wish to experience the entire trail, simply select the first option from the list below.

“We loved the walk. We are very happy with the service Contours provided.”Mr Thompson, USA
“This holiday ran like clockwork- very well organised throughout. We already have recommended you to others. We’re encouraging other LDWA members to use Contours as there is a discount too. Am planning two holidays next year.”Ms Struthers, UK
“Well organised as usual. A wonderful mix if steep escarpment, rolling farmland with plenty of trees and some super woodland sections. All this mixed with some lovely villages/small towns. I am already considering trails for next year. I really do not have a favourite section, as I thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER ENJOYABLE HOLIDAY.”Mr Richardson, UK
“Great walk. Contours has a very smooth operation and the only time we needed to phone for help we were very well, and speedily, looked after. If we decide to do another supported walking holiday then we will certainly check Contours out first.”Mrs Maddison, UK
“Despite every kind of weather imaginable...snow, rain, heavy wind, some sun...we did enjoy it.”Ms Millard, France
“Well organised, generally accommodation was very good, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming.”Mrs McGoldrick, UK
“A great trip, and everything worked as planned.”Mr Pedersen, Norway
“Pretty much perfect. For those that love walking it would be silly not to walk the Cotswold Way.”Mr Tupper, UK
“The arrangements by Contours were very good. Walking in the wettest March for 40-50 years though was hard as the tracks are extremely muddy in parts!”Dr Smith, UK
