Escape into the green fields of God’s Own Country with this compact walking tour in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We designed this tour as a ready-to-go gift option for a loved one, but that certainly doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself to a restorative mini getaway, too!
This is a single-centre tour — where you return to the same accommodation both nights — with three mileage options to choose from. Whether you opt for the longest route from Conistone to Burnsall, the mid-length route from Kettlewell to Linton, or the shortest route from Arncliffe to Threshfield, there will be plenty of memorable sights to enjoy along the way.
This two-night break was designed as a compact way to sample an area, ideal for a long weekend — and as a gift for an outdoorsy loved one. Stay in one accommodation for the duration, with a lift to the trail on the first morning and back to your accommodation after the final day's hike. Choose from three mileage options and explore at your own pace.

This mid-length tour option encompasses just over 20 miles of walking through the Yorkshire Dales, without skimping on the quality of the scenery!
After spending the first night of your holiday in the well-stocked village of Malham, a taxi will collect you from your accommodation in the morning and drop you off at Kettlewell, a charming location that is well worth looking around before commencing your walk. As you wander back towards Malham, you will be treated to patchwork fields and the unique geography this region is known for, most notably the spectacular glacial carving of Malham Cove.
Your second walking day will then begin from your accommodation’s doorstep, encountering more green landscapes, old lime kilns and other remnants of the Dales’ mining history before arriving in Linton. A taxi transfer will then take you back to Malham to collect your luggage, signalling the completion of this restorative two-day break.
