A 4-6 night walking holiday in the footsteps of Celtic saints, from St Germans to Padstow.
From £390 per person
The eastern section of the Cornish Celtic Way highlights the pretty vistas of the trail’s gentler half. From St Germans, the trail seeks the sea and enjoys beautiful walking along the Polperro Heritage Coast. The coastline here is calmer than on Cornwall’s northern shore, enjoying gentle gradients and stretches of yellow gorse. Between sheltered coves, the trail strays from the land’s edge to enjoy wooded pathways dappled with shade.
At Polruan, the Cornish Celtic Way East heads inland along the Saints Way. The trails once used by missionaries lead the way across the varied Cornish countryside, delving into lush valleys and through ancient woodland, over windswept moors and rolling pastures. Cornish towns and villages make ideal rest stops along the way, and historic landmarks — some dating back to the Bronze Age — piece together a picture of Cornwall’s rich past.
Wandering through the lush woodland of the Polperro Heritage Coast, where the trail is quiet and sheltered.
Walking in the footsteps of ancient pilgrims between the Celtic crosses and old churches of the Saints Way.
Crossing the Cornish peninsula and arriving in bustling Padstow, with brilliant views over the sea.
